Your baby's first winter deserves the right gear. Our baby girl snowsuit collection, designed in Montreal, keeps little ones warm and protected through the coldest Canadian winters, from 3 months to 36 months.

Rated to -30°C (model dependent), waterproof, and built for baby's freedom of movement, every baby girl snowsuit in our lineup pairs serious protection with softness and style. Because even at 6 months, she deserves to look great outside.

Baby Snowsuit Canada: Five Lines for Every Baby

Our baby snowsuit collection offers five distinct lines, each designed for a specific lifestyle and age range:

  • Baby Original — The classic one-piece for babies 3 to 24 months. Rated to -30°C, with snap-on removable booties and mittens, reflective bands, and an included neckwarmer. Perfect for baby's first winters.
  • Baby Play — Built for active babies 3 to 18 months. Abrasion-resistant fabric (30,000 rub cycles), eco-friendly digital printing, and a waterproof crotch zipper for car seat compatibility. Rated to -30°C.
  • Baby Layette — Ultra-soft for babies 6 to 30 months. Velour interior, sherpa-lined hood, integrated sherpa booties and mittens, and car seat compatible. Rated to -30°C.
  • Baby Snug — The most car seat friendly line in the collection (3 to 30 months): opens at the crotch zipper AND the front panels to reduce bulk at the shoulders and chest under the harness. Velour interior with sherpa lining. Rated to -20°C.
  • Baby Cloud — Lightweight and ultra-compressible (6 to 30 months one-piece, 12 to 36 months two-piece). Recycled PrimaLoft® insulation minimizes bulk under the car seat belt. Ideal for families always on the go. Rated to -20°C.

Frequently Asked Questions — Baby Girl Snowsuit

How do I choose a baby girl snowsuit for Canadian winters?

For temperatures down to -30°C, common across Canada, the Baby Original, Baby Play, and Baby Layette lines are the right choice. If your baby spends a lot of time in a car seat or stroller and you need a more compressible option, the Baby Snug and Baby Cloud (rated to -20°C) are specifically engineered to reduce bulk. All lines feature the BIONIC-FINISH® ECO water-repellent treatment, free of PFAS, PFOA, and PFOS, safe for baby's skin.

Can I use an infant snowsuit girl with a car seat?

A thick infant snowsuit should never be worn under a car seat harness — it compresses on impact and reduces harness effectiveness. Several lines in our collection are specifically designed to address this. The Baby Snug opens at the crotch and front panels so the harness goes directly over baby's body; the Baby Cloud's compressible PrimaLoft® insulation reduces bulk significantly. Otherwise, buckle baby in normally and drape the snowsuit over top like a blanket.

What is the difference between a newborn snowsuit and a bunting bag?

A newborn snowsuit or bunting bag opens fully like a sleeping bag, easy to dress a baby who isn't yet walking and well suited to strollers and carriers. Our baby bunting bags offer the same warmth rating. A traditional snowsuit (Baby Original, Baby Play, etc.) is better suited once baby starts moving independently, since each limb is covered separately for freedom of movement.

How do I find the right size for a baby girl snowsuit?

Use the size chart on each product page. When your baby is between sizes or growing fast, size up. The Baby Original, Baby Snug, and Baby Layette lines include internal waist adjustments to keep the fit snug as needed. With free returns within 30 days, it's easy to exchange if the size isn't right.
